Summer Program
2024年夏天，弘光科技大學迎來了充滿活力與歡笑的跨國混班！來自姊妹校的51位國際學生與31位弘光學生齊聚一堂，總計82位同學共同度過了一個熱情洋溢的夏天，也締造了跨越國界的深厚友誼！

Troy University
This summer program at Hungkuang University was such an unforgettable experience! The morning Chinese classes were fun and interactive—our teacher was so patient and encouraging, which made learning less stressful. I especially enjoyed the afternoon hands-on workshops. My favorite was street drink DIY, where we made our own bubble tea. It felt amazing to make something so iconic to Taiwan! The field trips were also incredible. The visit to Sun Moon Lake blew my mind—the scenery was breathtaking! But what made this program truly special were the HKU buddies. They were super welcoming and always made sure we felt at home. Even if their English wasn’t perfect, they tried so hard to communicate, which made me feel really touched. I’ve made so many memories and friendships that I’ll treasure forever!
Shokei Gakuin University
My time at Hungkuang University was simply amazing. It was my first time visiting Taiwan, and everything felt so fresh and exciting. I really appreciated the HKU buddies; they were like a bridge between us and Taiwan. One of them, Jason, even tried speaking Japanese to me, which made me feel more comfortable. The night market trips were a highlight! The buddies showed us the best snacks, and I got to try stinky tofu (not bad at all!). The rock climbing workshop was another favorite—I had never tried it before, and the buddies cheered me on the whole time. This program wasn’t just about learning new skills or exploring Taiwan; it was about connecting with people from all over the world. I’ll never forget the kindness and energy of the HKU students.
STIKES Telegorejo Semarang
Hungkuang Summer Program was one of the happiest times of my life. Every day was packed with activities that made me smile. The buddies were fantastic, they weren’t just classmates but became true friends. The activities were also incredible. I loved the Pilates and accessory DIY classes, they were fun and relaxing at the same time. What stood out the most was the group vibe. Everyone was so supportive and friendly, which made me feel like I belonged. I came to Taiwan as a student but left with a heart full of memories and friendships that I’ll cherish forever.
Induk University
Joining the summer program at Hungkuang University was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The variety of activities kept me engaged and excited every day. I particularly enjoyed the film production workshop. Our team made a short film about cultural differences, and it was so rewarding to see our ideas come to life. The buddies were incredible, they were super patient and always made sure I was having fun. They even taught me how to order in Chinese at a restaurant! The trips to Taipei and Gaomei Wetland were unforgettable, and I loved how the buddies explained everything about the culture and history. This program taught me so much about teamwork, communication, and cultural exchange. Taiwan now holds a special place in my heart, thanks to Hungkuang University.
Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman
I had an amazing time at Hungkuang University this summer. The mix of cultural activities and workshops was perfect. My favorite was the pastry DIY session—it was messy but so much fun! I also loved the trips, especially to Sun Moon Lake. The buddies were the real stars of the program, though. They were always enthusiastic and helpful, making sure we enjoyed every moment. This program was more than just an educational experience; it was a chance to connect with people from around the world and create memories I’ll carry with me forever.
國際溝通英語系，潘芊蓉
這是我第一次參加國際學伴活動，一開始真的有點緊張，因為擔心自己的英文不夠好，沒辦法跟國際學生好好交流。結果後來發現，這根本不是問題！國際學生都很親切又好奇，常常問我一些有趣的中文問題，讓我笑到停不下來。讓我印象很深刻的是他們第一次嘗試臭豆腐和珍珠奶茶的反應，有人一開始超抗拒，結果最後居然愛上臭豆腐，還說要帶回家鄉介紹給朋友！這次活動讓我學到，語言不是最大的障礙，真心的交流才是最重要的。我很開心能參加這次活動，認識了來自不同國家的朋友，也更了解自己的文化。希望以後還有機會再參加，繼續探索不同的文化世界！

這次的Summer Program讓我每天都充滿期待！和國際學生相處的過程真的超有趣，從一開始的彼此觀察到後來的無話不談。雖然語言有點障礙，但大家靠簡單的英文和手勢，交流起來還是非常順利。我還記得有一次我們分享彼此國家的傳統，聽到他們的文化故事，真的覺得世界好大，每個人都超有趣。這次活動讓我不僅提升了和外國人交流的自信，也讓我更加珍惜自己的文化，學到每個文化都有它的美好，真的很感動也很充實！
語言治療與聽力學系，高蓓安
第二次參加國際學伴活動，感覺更有經驗了，也更能享受和國際學生相處的每一刻。大家雖然來自不同國家，但我們很快找到共同話題。記得有一次的中文課提到台灣的傳統節慶，老師提到過年發紅包的習俗，外國學生聽得超有興趣，還說希望能體驗一次台灣的新年！我們每天下課後都會想一些活動或是到學校附近去吃晚餐，他們對每個事物都充滿好奇，拍了超多照片，還發到社群上炫耀。這次活動讓我發現，自己的英文比以前進步很多，能更流利地介紹台灣文化，甚至還教了幾句台語，像「你好」和「謝謝」。這次經驗讓我覺得，跨文化交流不僅是分享，也是互相學習的過程。能參加這樣的活動，真的讓我覺得超幸福，也期待下一次再參加！

這次再次擔任國際學伴，整個過程讓我感受到滿滿的成就感。記得我們在逛夜市的時候，有一位國際學生問我為什麼台灣人喜歡吃夜市，我跟他說，「因為夜市是我們的靈魂啊！」他們聽完居然也點頭說「真的！」這種交流的過程讓我超有成就感。這次活動讓我發現自己在與外國人溝通時更自信了，也學會如何更有條理地表達自己。最重要的是，這次經歷不僅讓我更珍惜自己的文化，也讓我看到跨文化交流的巨大價值。希望未來能繼續參與，為國際學生帶來更棒的台灣體驗！
